I had the honor to join my colleague and fellow Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness faculty member Sean Kelly on the podcast On Birth Conversation. In this episode, we explored the effect birth has on our psychology and on adulthood. We discussed the archetype of birth, the work of C.G. Jung and Stan Grof, and the roots of transpersonal psychology. I also was able to share some of what I learned going through my own experience of birthing my son Aurelio last year.

Becca,
It was so good to get caught up on your birthing experience last year. Though I still haven’t seen the little guy. It should certainly be interesting to get his perspective on it one day, yes.
I’m relistening to your Audible narration of Way of the Psychonaut. And hope the Stan Grof bio is going well. My own book, the sci fi novel, is in the final editing process and should be out next spring.
I’d take your LoTR course again, just to share perspectives agian, but it’s expensive and I feel like I’ve been through the material twice. And have your book. So, good luck with the course. I’ll miss you and all of you.
